Mexico has a certain joie de vivre that I fear we have lost stateside. Based on my own fairly extensive travels within Mexico, I think PDA’s are fairly common, though lesbian ones are sadly too rare. In fact, in Taxco (which I highly recommend you visit if you haven’t) there’s a courtyard in front of one of the many churches with placard which basically says that amorous couples should find another site. LOL…
When in El DF and in the Zona Rosa, my BF and I hold hands and have never had any problems. But I’d think twice about doing that in other neighborhoods. Perhaps Coyocan would be cool, but I’d hesitate elsewhere.

Thanks for the feedback, Kim G. I’m sure it’s helpful for our readers to hear other perspectives!
I have only been to Taxco once about twelve years ago, but when I make it back I’ll look for that sign!
Thanks,
Anna

Lots of photos.
better public displays of affection than public displays of hatred and violence.
